A couple of weekends ago I recieved my mission call. I'm going to Colorado, Colorado Springs mission. I cannot express how excited I am. I know that this is where I'm supposed to go. I'm so excited for the next couple of years so I can find out why.
I feel so humbled to have this opportunity to serve and represent my Savior Jesus Christ. I feel so grateful to him. I know I cannot comprehend all that He has done for me. I know his atonement has saved me and my life from the many mistakes I have made. I'm so grateful to know who I am, where I came from and where I'm going. This knowledge has made a huge impact on my life. It gives me hope and brings me happiness. I feel light and joy when I live the principles and comandments I know from the gospel. I cannot wait to share this happiness, joy and light with other people. I know that this church is restored with the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ through our prophet Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon. I know that we continue to recieve guidence and learn principles necessary for us to receive celestial blessings through our prophets today, specifically President Monson. I know he is a man called of God and that he communes with Him for us. I hope that with the companionship of the Spirit I can be effective in sharing this message with others.
I'm so so excited to get out into the feild and share this with people, specifically families. I know how much these truth can bless families because of how much it has blessed mine. I am so blessed to have a wonderful family. I have wonderful sisters. They are my best friends. We always have so much fun together and we always have supported each other in our individual problems. Also my parents I have the best Daddy and Mom ever. I'm grateful for the principles they have taught me and how they are always there to love me. I'm grateful for my daddy's example of hardwork, perserverance and honoring the preisthood. Also for my mom's example of faith, obedience with exactness and purity. I love my family so much.
I know that everyone has a specific mission in this life. We were all sent to earth to prove ourselves and build God's kingdom. We are each given special gifts and weakness's to help us fulfill our missions. I can't wait to enter into this part of my life and learn more about myself, how to serve others and most importantly come closer to knowing God and my Savior Jesus Christ.
